Study Guides

Our study guides not only examine the key elements of the texts – plot, setting, characters, themes, writing style – they do so in a way that addresses the requirements of the assessment task.

Background reading or activities are included to help teachers engage students with less familiar concepts and situations.

Student study guides are also available through the parents page. These break down the 3 criteria and each of the top level descriptors on the marking guide. Students are given examples of how to meet each descriptor using the set text. They are also shown examples of strong and weaker responses so they learn why some responses would be awarded the higher grade.

Please note: these study guides are electronic / digital and can be accessed as soon as you create a membership and login.

Each subscription allows access for one user.

If you need to create multiple memberships, or would prefer to pay through an invoice sent to the school, please contact the office
